Das Terminal

“Das Terminal” by zehndetails from Berlin reimagines the scientific poster. More specifically, it consists of a large flat-screen display connected to an iPad and supported by a sleek steel frame. The iPad allows users to present digital content on the large screen. This concept is primarily aimed at scientific conferences, where researchers can use “Das Terminal” to present their work in a new and very elegant way.

I developed an interactive microsite for zehndetails, a Berlin-based company, to showcase their product “Das Terminal.” The site features various technical refinements such as parallax scrolling, touch gesture control, and drag-and-drop image uploads. It also includes a video embedded using HTML5 and JavaScript with a Flash fallback. To top it all off, the entire site is responsive and thus optimized for mobile devices.
